Gear is a power transmission mechanism that requires high precision for mechanical transmission. At the same time, it is also a speed change device. In order to ensure that the gear has the best lubrication, the lowest temperature, the lowest noise and the largest transmission power during high-speed operation, the coordination between gear and shaft is very key.
1、 Key fit is the most commonly used form of fit, which is divided into single key, double key, spline and so on. The assembly requirements are low. Generally, it can be assembled with a copper hammer to meet the general mechanical transmission.
2、 The matching of cone sleeve is relatively high, and the precision of cone sleeve and gear inner hole is very high. During assembly, it needs special hydraulic tools, which is widely used in more important mechanical devices.
3、 Interference fit is also called tight fit. During assembly, the gear needs to be heated so that after the inner hole of the gear is thermally expanded, it can be easily sleeved on the processed gear shaft and fixed on the shaft after cooling. It is difficult to disassemble half of the gear. The methods of heating the gear include oil boiling method and electromagnetic heating method.
Gear shaft assembly:
1. Fit: the fit between the hole and the shaft shall meet the specified requirements. For example, the fixed connecting gear shall not be eccentric or skewed; The sliding gear shall not be engaged or stuck; The gear on the loose shaft shall not shake.
2. Center distance and side clearance: ensure the accuracy of gear center distance and proper side clearance. If the gear backlash is too small, the transmission will be inflexible, and if the backlash is too large, it is prone to impact and vibration.
3. Tooth surface contact accuracy: ensure the accuracy of tooth surface contact accuracy and contact position. If the contact position is incorrect, the two meshing gears will have relative errors.
4. Gear positioning: ensure the accurate positioning of the gear, and the displacement shall not be greater than the specified value.
5. Balance: the large gear with high speed shall be checked for dynamic balance after being assembled on the shaft to prevent excessive vibration.
