V Belt Pulley

The rim is the working part of the pulley, which is used to install the drive belt and is made of trapezoidal groove. Because the included angle between the two sides of the ordinary V-belt is 40 °, the wedge angle is reduced to adapt to the section deformation of the V-belt when it is bent on the pulley.
Therefore, the groove angle of ordinary V-belt pulley is 32 °, 34 °, 36 ° and 38 ° (determined according to the belt type and pulley diameter).
Classification of v-belt pulley:
The commonly used V-belt pulley structure includes solid type, web type, orifice type and wheel width type.
1. Solid pulley is adopted when the reference diameter is less than or equal to 2.5 times the diameter of the shaft.
2. Web-type pulley is adopted when the reference diameter is less than or equal to 300mm.
3. The orifice plate pulley is used when the difference between the inner and outer diameters of the orifice plate is greater than or equal to 100 mm.
4. Spoke-type pulley is adopted when the reference diameter is greater than 300 mm.
