Classification of synchronous belt:
1. Trapezoidal toothed synchronous belt. The trapezoidal toothed synchronous belt can be divided into single-sided toothed belt and double-sided toothed belt, which are referred to as single-sided belt and double-sided belt for short. The double-sided belt is divided into symmetrical tooth types according to the arrangement of teeth. There are two dimensions of trapezoidal tooth synchronization: pitch system and module system.
2. Arc tooth synchronous belt. Except that the tooth profile is curved, the structure of the spiral tooth synchronous belt is basically the same as that of the trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt, the tooth pitch is equal, and the tooth height, tooth root thickness, and tooth root fillet radius are greater than those of the trapezoidal tooth. After the belt tooth is loaded, the stress distribution is good, the stress concentration at the tooth root is smooth, and the bearing capacity of the tooth is improved. Therefore, the transmission power of the spiral tooth synchronous belt is greater than that of the trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt, which can prevent the interference of the teeth in the meshing process. Arc tooth synchronous belt has good wear resistance, low noise, no need of lubrication, and can be used in harsh environment with dust. It has been widely used in food, automobile, textile, pharmaceutical, printing, paper and other industries.
