Belt tensioner maintains the correct amount of tension on the belt at all times. If the belt tension is too low, the belt will slip causing noise, extremely high temperatures and premature wear that will be transferred to every component in contact with the drive serpentine belt. If the tension is too high, this will cause excessive wear to the belt-driven accessories.

The AC belt car is usually replaced every 2 years or about 6W km. The generator belt is the main belt in the car, connecting the generator, air conditioning compressor, booster pump, idler, tensioner and crankshaft pulley.

Replacement method of AC belt car of automobile generator:

1. First, remove the plastic support plate under the engine. After the protection late is removed, the generator belt and the oil filter are exposed. Then, remove the exposed generator belt. The condition after the belt is removed can be seen from the bottom;

2. Remove the engine crankshaft output wheel beside the engine oil filter, remove the output wheel, and remove the expansion water tank. For this reason, it is convenient to remove the key fixed upper bracket on the engine timing belt side and loosen the bolts on both sides;

3. The triangle bracket opposite to the yellow mark on the pipe is the key fixing bracket of the engine end face. Start to loosen the bolts of the key fixing bracket or loosen the bolts. The removed engine end face is fixed with the triangle bracket, and the belt guard cover is used when removing the genuine.
