The tooth profile of AT20 timing belt is large and the tooth surface is much wider than that of T20. Therefore, the area of the contact surface between the teeth of AT20 timing belt and both sides of the tooth is more than that of T20: the included angle of T20 is 40 °, and the included angle of AT20 is 50 °. Under the condition of the same number of teeth, the same modulus, the same width and space constraints, the transmission force of AT20 is greater, and the deformation of the belt teeth is reduced as much as possible, There is a larger regional distribution load.
Therefore, T20 model is rarely used in general mechanical design, and AT20 timing belt is directly used.
Tensile layer (steel wire rope or fiber rope) tensile layer is the tensile element of synchronous belt, which is used to transmit power and ensure that the distance of synchronous belt remains unchanged during operation.
