1, Material preparation

2, Mold making

Mold is one of the key links in casting, and its shape, size, and surface quality directly affect the quality of the casting. In belt pulley casting, sand casting or metal casting is usually used, and the appropriate mold making method is selected according to the requirements of the casting. Mold production needs to take into account factors such as shrinkage, gating, and ejector pins during the casting process to ensure casting quality.

3, Melting casting

After preparing the metal materials and molds, start the casting process. First, heat the metal material in the furnace until it reaches the melting point. Next, pour the liquid metal into the mold and maintain sufficient filling time to ensure complete filling of the castings inside the mold.

4, Cooling and demolding

After pouring liquid metal into the mold, cooling and demolding are required. At the appropriate time, place the mold in cooling water and lower the temperature until the casting solidifies. After the casting is completely solidified, the mold is dismantled and the casting is removed to complete demolding.

5, Cleaning and Inspection

After the casting is demolded, it needs to be cleaned and inspected. Clean the excess sand particles first, and then perform surface treatment and deburring on the castings. Finally, conduct an inspection to check whether the castings meet the customer's requirements and quality standards. If there are any issues, they need to be adjusted and corrected in a timely manner.
