20B chain sprockets are widely produced from hot-rolled steel strips of 45 steel.

The processing and manufacturing process of sprocket is generally as follows: steel strip leveling and cutting → cold punching blank → punching → finish turning surface → gear hobbing → induction quenching + tempering → surface treatment

Therefore, the raw steel strip needs to have good cold working and heat treatment properties.
