Disassembly and assembly of sprocket

Automatic sprocket: the automatic sprocket is connected with the output shaft of the engine in the form of spline, and is connected with spline baffle or screw

Female fixation. When disassembling, the sprocket cover can be removed, the chain can be removed, and the spline baffle or fixing nut can be unscrewed

Pull out the sprocket. Assembly shall be carried out in reverse order.

Driven sprocket: 

① support the main bow to tilt up the rear wheel. 

② Loosen the rear axle fastening nut and adjuster screw, remove the chain box and chain. 

③ Disassemble the rear brake pull rod and pull out the rear wheel assembly together.

 ④ Remove the retaining chain,remove the bolt, nut or retaining ring of the sprocket from the rear hub or pin bolt of the sprocket.

 ⑤ When installing the device, proceed in the opposite direction One by one. Tighten the sprocket fixing nut or bolt (30-50n. M) and the rear axle screw according to the regular torque Female (50-80n. M).

Device requirements and precautions for transmission sprocket: device requirements:

 ① accurately select the model according to the model specification.

② Reflect on whether the status of the transmission sprocket (transmission output countershaft, hub, etc.) is superior, otherwise ,Repair or replace relevant parts.

 ③ Put the driving and driven sprocket devices in place according to accurate methods, and tighten the fasteners to make them secure

Reach the regular torque requirements. 

④ After installing the transmission chain and adjusting the tightness, reflect on the common energy of the chain and sprocket No smooth, coplanar, and no interference with the chain cover.

 

Since the chain pocket comes into contact with each Chain Sprocket Wheel several times, partial induction profile hardening is applied during the manufacturing phase to improve the pocket's wear resistance. In general: the greater the number of teeth or chain grooves, the quieter the chain runs, thus resulting in a lower wear rate and less imbalance (polygon effect).
