Points needing attention when assembling sprocket, shaft and bearing

1. During assembly, pay attention to the cleanliness of the bearing. The packaging of the bearing can be removed only when assembly is required. If it is found to be dirty, it needs to be cleaned.

2. Before installation, check the surface of shaft and hole, and there should be no other dirt.

3. Generally, one side of the inner ring and outer ring of the bearing is a tight fit and the other side is a loose fit. During installation, the bearing and the tight fit are generally pre installed, and then the loose fit is installed. The method of heating or press fitting the bearing when installing the tight fit. Pay attention to the temperature range of heating; During press fitting, press fitting tooling is generally required to ensure that the rolling element in the middle of the bearing is not stressed during press fitting, otherwise the bearing will be damaged; And the bearing force shall be uniform during press fitting.

4. Generally, there will be marks on one side of the two sides of the bearing, and the marked side should face outward.

5. If necessary, a little lubrication can be added after installation.

What should be paid attention to after installation:

1. The bearing drive sprocket is easy to loosen during use. The driven sprocket shall be provided with anti loose measures and reinforcement measures.

2. The chain wheel shall be lubricated and maintained for long-term use. This can improve their service life.

3. Chain wheel and chain shall be replaced at the same time. Remember to replace not only the chain or sprocket, but also the supporting products. Replacing products alone will not improve, but will exacerbate wear.

4. After the driven sprocket is installed, the rear axle shall be aligned with the scribed line of the adjuster and the rear cradle (also called the rear fork). This can not only prevent the rear wheel from running away, but also avoid the early wear of the sprocket and chain.
