XPB V BELT:
Although some belts are made of aramid or aramid fiber, most V-belts are made of polyester fiber. Steel wire has higher tensile strength, which can limit tension and withstand greater impact load. In the well-designed V-belt, the tension rope of the safety belt is chemically combined with the rubber body to form a unit, so as to realize equal load distribution and prolong the service life of the belt.
The stretch line is supported by rubber inventory above (above) and below (below). Different manufacturers use a variety of synthetic rubber raw materials to provide heat resistance and reduce wear. Some high-performance synthetic rubber compounds, such as ethylene, can greatly expand the operating temperature range of the belt and resist hardening, cracking and premature damage.
After the belt drive works for a period of time, it will relax due to plastic deformation, reducing the initial tension and the transmission capacity. At this time, the total deflection y under the specified load G becomes larger, and it needs to be re tensioned. Correct installation and maintenance are effective measures to ensure the normal operation of the belt drive and prolong the service life of the belt. In general, the following points should be noted:
1. When driving with parallel shafts, the axes of all pulleys must maintain the specified parallelism. The grooves of the driving and driven wheels of the V-belt drive must be adjusted in the same plane, and the error shall not exceed 20 ' , otherwise the XPB V belt will be twisted and the two sides will be worn prematurely.
2. It is not allowed to pry into the tape by force. The center distance shall be reduced first, the belt shall be sleeved on the pulley, and then the center distance shall be gradually increased to tighten the belt until the applied test force G meets the specified deflection y=1.6a/100.
3. When multiple XPB V belt are driven, in order to avoid uneven load distribution of each V-belt, the matching tolerance of the belt (refer to the relevant manual) shall be within the specified range.
4. The belt drive shall be checked regularly and adjusted in time. Damaged V-belts shall be replaced in time. New and old V-belts, ordinary XPB V belt, narrow V-belts and V-belts of different specifications shall not be mixed.
5. The belt drive must be equipped with a safety shield. This can not only prevent strangulation, but also prevent dust, oil and other debris from splashing onto the belt and affecting the transmission.
