The fixed v belt tensioning device has the advantages of simple structure, compact structure and small occupied area. It is suitable for small underground space. The disadvantage is that the position of the tensioning device is constant and cannot be adjusted in time with the change of belt tension. 

The types of equipment used for movable tensioning devices include heavy hammer suspension, heavy-duty trolley and heavy hammer trolley. Among them, the heavy hammer suspension mainly relies on the gravity of the heavy hammer itself to realize the purpose of tensioning the belt of the belt conveyor through the guide roller. When adjusting the v belt tension, increase or reduce the gravity of the heavy hammer.
