V Belt Conveyor

V-belt conveyor transmission relies on the friction between the two sides of the V-belt and the side of the wheel groove to transmit power. Compared with flat belt transmission, V-belt transmission has high friction, so it can transmit large power. V-belt is more compact than flat belt, and V-belt is a transmission belt without joints, so the transmission is more stable. It is a kind of transmission widely used in belt transmission. Because the material of V-belt transmission is not a complete elastomer, the belt will stretch and relax after working for a period of time, and the tension will be reduced. Therefore, the V-belt drive should be equipped with a tensioning device to maintain normal operation.

V-belt conveyor is a unique conveyor belt and a mechanical equipment for transmitting force and goods transportation. The V-belt has the advantages of easy installation, small occupied area, high transmission efficiency and low noise during operation. 

V-belt  conveyor can also be called V-belt, which belongs to the general name of annular transmission belt with trapezoidal section. It can be divided into ordinary V-belt and narrow V-belt. 

Difference between spa V-belt and a-belt. 

Spa V-belt is a kind of narrow V-belt. It belongs to high-speed oil proof narrow V-belt and can be applied to high-speed operation and multi oil environment. 

A-type V-belt is one of the ordinary V-belts, which belongs to the most common type of V-belt. It is often used in the transmission of various power in industry and agriculture. 

The strong layer of the narrow V-belt adopts a high-strength rope core, which can bear a relatively large preload and increase the number of flexures. When the band height of the narrow V-band is the same as that of the ordinary V-band, its bandwidth will be about one-third smaller than that of the ordinary V-band, but the bearing capacity can be increased by about 1.5 ~ 2.5 times. When the power transmitted by the narrow V-belt and the ordinary V-belt is the same, the width and diameter of the narrow V-belt can be reduced, and the cost will be reduced by about 20% ~ 40% compared with the ordinary V-belt.
