XXH Timing Pulley

XXH Timing Pulleys are available for a wide range of loads, speeds and applications. We offer five stock pitches as well as stock widths and diameters. Circular pitch (often simply referred to as pitch) is a factor to consider when selecting a timing pulley. Pitch is the distance between groove centers, measured on the pulley pitch circle on the belt, and pitch is the distance between tooth centers, measured on the pitch line of the belt. Please note that a belt of one pitch cannot be used with a pulley of a different pitch. The pulley (MPB) minimum glide hole needs to be machined to accommodate the preferred shaft size, set screw and keyway. QD - Quick Disconnect Pulleys use QD bushings, which allow the required bushing to be selected for the desired shaft. Flanged Pulleys Because of the inherent, mild side thrust of timing belts, it is necessary to use at least one flanged pulley to prevent the belt from slipping.
