Rubber Conveyor Belt

Rubber conveyor belt is one of the widely used conveyor belts, which is often used in construction, chemical industry, medicine, electronics and other fields. There are many kinds of rubber  belts. Different belts are required for the transportation of different products. But there are only so many kinds of rubber used in the production of rubber conveyor belt. What kinds of rubber are used in the production of rubber belt? There are four kinds commonly used, namely masking glue, buffer glue, cloth layer wiping glue and cloth layer pasting glue.

The docking of rubber synchronous belts can be carried out through the following methods
Using polymer solvent based adhesive for connection: This is a common connection method suitable for most rubber synchronous belts. By applying polymer solvent adhesive, effective connection of the tape can be achieved.
Align the teeth on both sides of the belt: When connecting, it is necessary to align the teeth on both sides of the belt to achieve a smooth connection. Usually, only open type synchronous belts need to be connected, but in case of breakage or wear of the synchronous belt, connection treatment may also be required.
Using pressurized heating press equipment: By setting corresponding time and pressure parameters, use pressurized heating press equipment to heat and pressurize the belt. After the belt temperature cools down, place it slightly to complete the docking.
When docking rubber synchronous belts, the following points should also be noted:
Ensure that the parallelism of the pulley axis is high to avoid the synchronous belt from deviating or jumping out of the pulley during operation.
The frame supporting the pulley must have sufficient stiffness to ensure that the two axes of the pulley remain parallel during operation.
Control the appropriate initial tension, avoid excessive force or use tools to pry hard, to prevent the tensile layer inside the synchronous belt from breaking imperceptibly.
When installing the synchronous belt, if the center distance between the two pulleys is adjustable, the center distance should be shortened first and reset after the synchronous belt is installed. If there is a tensioning wheel, it is necessary to first relax the tensioning wheel and complete the installation of the synchronous belt before tensioning.
