One of our area of expertise is timing belt pulley manufacturing, however we have the capabilities and knowledge to perform many other types of machining projects.

Although synchronous belt drive has many advantages, it also has many defects, such as short service life, no wear resistance, serious tooth peeling, meshing, tooth skipping, vibration and other undesirable conditions.

With the transmission error generated in the transmission process and transmission movement of the synchronous belt, the synchronous belt will be placed on the surface of the tooth profile of the tooth groove. Due to N times of error accumulation, the belt tooth will climb to the top circle of the pulley, and the belt for pulleys will slip on the top circle of the pulley. This is the so-called "tooth climbing" phenomenon.

In addition to the above reasons that may cause "tooth creep", there are:

1. The tension of timing belt is inappropriate.

2. There is oil stain on the surface of synchronous belt or toothed wheel.

3. The transmission gear and the gear are not on the same plane (that is, the parallelism difference).

4. The synchronous toothed belt is an elastomer, and the pitch of the belt teeth will change during the manufacturing and force transmission process, resulting in unequal pitch between the synchronous belt teeth and the belt gear teeth when they are engaged, resulting in pitch error. Excessive pitch error will cause unstable transmission, vibration and tooth creeping.

5. In case of frequent starting and impact load, the belt tooth will jump out of the belt gear groove, which will also lead to tooth creep.

6. During the application of synchronous toothed belt, overload must be prevented, otherwise, "tooth climbing" phenomenon is easy to occur.

7. Some enterprises use synchronous toothed belt, but the "tension" of the supporting tension pulley is not well understood. Either the tension is increased desperately or the tension is insufficient.

8. Hazards of excessive tension of tension wheel: As we all know, when the tension of tension wheel is too large and the rigidity of tension wheel axle is insufficient, the tension wheel axle head will be bent and deformed, resulting in runout. This runout is harmful. It makes the transmission become unstable, resulting in high-frequency vibration, thus generating high-order harmonics.

9. If the tension of the tension pulley is insufficient, the "tooth climbing" phenomenon of the toothed synchronous belt will increase.
