PK belt pulley is used with PK belt.

There are two kinds of belt materials in the national standard: Rubber (using molding process) and polyurethane (using pouring process), mainly the former. The latter polyurethane belt is cast, with high friction coefficient and good wear and oil resistance; However, the allowable operating temperature is low.

The material of PK belt pulley is generally cast iron, commonly HT150 and HT200. Cast steel (V > 30m / s) is used at high speed.

The inner hole of multi wedge pulley can be processed into straight hole, European standard conical hole and American Standard conical hole.

Difference between 5pk and 6pk belt pulleys

The peak number and performance are different.

1. The number of peaks is different. PK indicates the model of the multi wedge belt, 5PK indicates that the PK belt has 5 peaks, and 6pk indicates that the PK belt has 6 peaks.

2. With different performances, the greater the peak number of the pulley, the greater the transmission capacity it can withstand. Obviously, compared with the 6pk pulley, the 5pk pulley has less transmission capacity than the 6pk pulley.
