Brass Forged Elbow
SST machinery not only can produce machining brass elbow with solid brass round and hex bar material, we also proceed the production with forged blank material, this kind of fittings can save producing cost and have a good reliable function. Our brass forged elbow is produced with such method.
Forging is a processing method that uses forging machinery to apply pressure on a metal blank to produce deformation and obtain forgings with certain mechanical properties, certain shapes and sizes. Most of our brass forged elbow are made by this process.
By forging, the structure of casting property has been improved, and the mechanical properties of forgings are generally better than castings of the same material. Therefoure, for mechanically important parts with high loads or harsh working conditions, in addition to simple shapes that can be rolled, profiles or welded parts, forgings are mostly used.
The material of brass forged elbow is H58 or H59 with non treatment, our regular packaging of the elbow is standard export packaging, that is plastic bag+box+pallet to stand sea delivery.
According to the forming method, forging can be divided into:
① open forging (free forging). The metal between the upper and lower anvils is deformed by impact or pressure to obtain the required forgings, mainly manual forging and mechanical forging.
②Closed forging. The metal blank is compressed and deformed in a forging die with a certain shape to obtain a forging, which can be divided into die forging, cold head, rotary forging and extrusion.
According to the deformation temperature, forging can be divided into hot forging (processing temperature is higher than the recrystallization temperature of the billet), warm forging (lower than the recrystallization temperature) and cold forging (normal temperature).
