Brass Elbow Fitting

SST machinery offers different kinds of 45 degree and 90 degree brass elbow fittings, we have female thread and male thread, we also have metric thread, G thread and E thread for your choice, meanwhile we accept custom elbow fittings with different materials.

The material of brass elbow fitting is standard H58 or H59, we can choose non surface treatment or nickel plating or chrome plating, for most of our brass elbow fitting is forged parts, please find below some introduction about the difference between forging and casting.

Casting is the process of smelting metal into a liquid that meets certain requirements and pouring it into a mold. After cooling, solidification and cleaning, castings (parts or blanks) of predetermined shape, dimensions and properties are obtained. The cost of the blank material produced by casting is low, and for parts with complex shapes, especially complex cavities, it can show its economic efficiency; at the same time, it has a wide range of adaptability and good comprehensive mechanical properties. Casting is a kind of metal heat treatment technology mastered by mankind earlier, with a history of about 6,000 years.

Forging is a processing method that uses forging machinery to apply pressure to a metal blank to produce plastic deformation to obtain forgings with certain mechanical properties, certain shapes and sizes.

The electroplated nickel layer has high stability in the air. Due to the strong passivation ability of metallic nickel, a thin passivation film can be formed quickly on the surface, which can resist the corrosion of the atmosphere, alkali and certain acids. So many of our customers choose nickel plating to achieve anti-rust purpose.

Q: How long is your lead time?

A: Generally speaking our lead time is around 30 days to 60 days for production, while if we have stock, the delivery time is around one week.

Q: Do you provide samples? Is it free or charged?

A: We can provide samples free of charge for our stock items, while we do not afford the freight. For no stock sample, we need sample charges.

Q: What is your payment terms?

A: We will proceed 100% prepayment for total amount less than $3000 dollar, and 30% down payment+70% balance payment for total amount more than $3000 dollar.
