1SN Hose Ferrule:

As we know all hose ferrules have to be crimped together with the fittings and hoses, so we have to prepare adequate materials before we crimp hose ferrules:

Firstly, we have to confirm the dimensions of the hose, such as the inner diameter of the hose, the number of steel wire layers of the hose, the length of the hose, the type and size of the fittings.
Secondly, to make sure the correct choice of the corresponding hose ferules according to the number of layers of hose wires (generally, one-layer ferrule 00110/00110A is used for low-pressure oil hose, two-layer ferrule 00210/03310 for two layer steel wire, four layer ferrule 00400 for four-layer steel wire, and so on).
Thirdly, after we have confirmed above two points, we can cut the hose according to the required length , and select the hose fittings and quantity of the corresponding specifications.
Stripping the rubber layer of the hose after cutting. Small-scale production can be stripped with a wallpaper knife. For mass production, it is better use a stripping machine with higher efficiency. The peeling length is about 4/5 of the length of the ferrule and the standard for peeling is to see the steel wire in the exposed hose. The purpose of stripping the rubber layer is to make the ferrule easier to fit into the hose, and its inner groove of the ferrule can better press the steel wire to achieve the purpose of connecting of the fittings firmly.
