The 14M synchronous belt transmission transmits power through the mutual engagement of the teeth of the pulley and the teeth of the synchronous belt. The two teeth should be engaged together as well as possible to fully ensure the power transmission and service life. Therefore, the engagement between the teeth must be matched.

Tooth profile classification of 14M synchronous belt.

The 14M synchronous belt has a variety of tooth profiles with different characteristics. So what is the tooth profile of the synchronous belt? HTD circular arc tooth profile (general tooth profile) and Omega tooth profile: this tooth profile is obtained by improving HTD tooth profile. The tooth top groove can fully improve the air flow at the moment when the teeth engage with the teeth, greatly reduce the noise level during the operation of the synchronous belt, and do not lose the power transmission capacity of the teeth.

Selection of synchronous belt tooth profile: universal synchronous belt, HTD circular arc tooth, square tooth, t tooth and at tooth are widely used in the market and easy to obtain and replace. The transmission precision of t-teeth, at teeth and square teeth is high, which is suitable for precision transmission and precision positioning transmission. Meshing belt drive is also commonly called synchronous belt drive. It transmits the motion through the meshing of the transverse teeth equally distributed on the inner surface of the drive belt and the corresponding tooth grooves on the pulley. Compared with the friction belt drive, there is no relative sliding between the pulley and the drive belt of the synchronous belt drive, which can ensure a strict transmission ratio. However, the synchronous belt drive requires high center distance and dimensional stability.
