With flat cone seat and E thread, this kind of ORFS hose fitting has been widely used in pipelines and hydraulic machines. The material of ORFS hose fitting is carbon steel Q235 or C45. The characteristic of steel pipe: light weight (compared to cast iron pipe), thin wall, high strength, heat resistance, can be welded. It is mostly used for pipes that need to be pressurized, such as hot and cold water pipes, steam pipes, etc.

The characteristic of casting iron pipe: Corrosion resistant. However, it cannot be welded, and has a certain pressure bearing capacity, but it is brittle, and the connection is troublesome, the weight is heavy, and the inner wall is not smooth, so it is easy to retain debris and blockage. In the past, it was mostly used for sewer pipes and seawater pipes.

The characteristic of plastic pipe: Corrosion-resistant, smooth inner wall, not suitable for retaining debris, but low strength and not heat-resistant. Can be used for sewer pipes, or low temperature corrosive liquid pipes. Now some special high-strength plastic pipes are gradually developed (such as ultra-high-density polyethylene pipes, etc.), which can also be used for some corrosive liquid pipes that need to be pressurized.
