Working principle of round belt:

The round belt drive is a friction belt drive. The drive belt is tightly sleeved on two pulleys to generate pressure between the belt and the contact surface of the pulley. When the driving wheel rotates, the friction between the belt and the contact surface of the driving wheel causes the belt to move. At the same time, the belt drives the driven wheel to rotate by relying on the friction between the belt and the contact surface of the driven wheel to transfer movement and power.

2、 Round belt application:

The round belt is applied to the round belt drive. The friction force generated by pressing the belt against the pulley groove in the round belt drive is very elastic. It can alleviate the impact vibration during the operation process. The movement is stable, the noise is low, and the belt slips when the load is too large, playing a mechanical role. The round belt drive is applied to low-speed small power drive, such as the drive of sewing machines, tape reels and other small power or manual machinery.

3、 Working characteristics:

As the round belt is an elastic body, it can mitigate the impact of load and move steadily without noise.

Overload will cause the belt to slip on the pulley, thus preventing damage to other parts.

The manufacturing and installation accuracy is not as strict as the meshing transmission.

The belt length can be increased to adapt to the working conditions with large center distance.
