B Series Roller Chain

The chain number includes A and B series roller chain. Series A is the size that conforms to the American chain standard; Series B  is the size that conforms to the European (mainly British) chain standard. Except for the same pitch, other aspects have their own characteristics. The main differences are:

1) The thickness of inner chain plate and outer chain plate of A series products is equal, and the same strength effect of static strength is achieved through different debugging. The inner chain plate and outer chain plate of B series products are debugged equal and equal, and the same strength effect of static strength is achieved through different Baidu.

2) There is a certain proportion between the main dimensions and the pitch of each component of A series. For example, pin diameter=(5/16) P, roller diameter=(5/8) P, chain plate thickness=(1/8) P (P is the chain pitch), etc. However, there is no obvious proportion between the main dimensions and pitch of B series roller chain parts.

3) Compared with the breaking load value of the chain of the same grade, except that the specification 12B of the B series roller chain is lower than that of the A series, all the other A series products of the same grade have the same specification.

The product standard is equivalent to the international standard ISO9606:1994, and its product specifications, dimensions and pull load values are completely consistent with the international standard.

Structural features: the chain is formed by alternately hinged inner chain link composed of inner chain plate, roller and sleeve and outer chain link composed of outer chain plate and pin shaft.

According to the definition of the purpose of the chain, there are two types of chain: roller chain and sleeve chain, which can be used in the engine and outside the engine. Most of the chains used in the engine are sleeve chain structures. The chains used outside the engine are transmission chains used to drive the rear wheels, which mostly use roller chains.
