Hollow pin chain: used for conveying, single pitch, double pitch and long pitch. Accessories or cross bars can be inserted into any link of the chain without removing the chain.

Wear is one of the main reasons for the destruction of hollow pin chain. When the hollow pin chain runs, the chain will stretch elastically, and when it is unloaded, it will return to its original length. The wear between the links will increase the chain pitch, and the external dimensions of the links will remain unchanged.

Under normal conditions, a 2.5% increase in chain pitch is acceptable. If it exceeds 2.5%, it is necessary to evaluate whether to replace the chain. If the mining face is close to completion, the wear of the chain should not cause problems. If the remaining working face is long, new chains need to be assembled to reduce the risk of chain failure. When overloaded, the chain will stretch plastically. When the load is removed, the link remains extended. These links will increase the chain pitch by about a few millimeters, and the external dimensions of the links will also increase in length. If the increased chain pitch occurs on one of the chains, the chain will not match.
