Selection mode of timing belt and pulley

1. When selecting the timing belt and pulley, firstly, the number of teeth, pitch diameter and structure of the synchronous wheel are determined according to the tooth profile model of the synchronous belt and synchronous wheel, as well as the pitch and other relevant meshing parameters of the synchronous belt and synchronous wheel. 

2. The calculation of the number and diameter of synchronous teeth is mainly to determine the number of teeth of the small synchronous wheel, and then determine the number of teeth of the large synchronous wheel according to the transmission ratio of the synchronous wheel transmission system. 

3. In order to ensure the service life of the synchronous wheel, the diameter of the small synchronous wheel shall be greater than the minimum allowable bending diameter of the synchronous wheel, and then converted into the minimum number of teeth of the synchronous wheel according to the data. As long as the structure and cost allow, and considering the service life of the synchronous belt, the number of teeth of the small synchronous wheel needs to be slightly larger than the allowable minimum size, and a little more is the best. 

4. When determining the number of teeth of the small synchronous wheel, the number of teeth of the large synchronous wheel is determined according to the transmission ratio of the synchronous wheel transmission system. Finally, the center distance between the two synchronous wheels can be determined according to the transmission structure of the synchronous wheel.

When checking the synchronous pulley, use a caliper to measure the diameter of the synchronous pulley and check its wear.

Timing belt and pulley design needs to be combined with the actual use. The synchronous belt transmission structure needs to achieve the transmission power of the transmission belt, the speed of the driving wheel, the speed or transmission ratio of the driven wheel, the installation center distance of the synchronous belt wheel, and the working conditions.
