Cracks occur during the production of taper sleeve

The taper sleeve is made of 50crmnmoh steel for large roll forging. This material has high strength and good wear resistance, but it is easy to crack during forging and heat treatment. Therefore, there is ultrasonic nondestructive testing after the quenching and tempering heat treatment of the cone sleeve to avoid cracks in the blank stage.

The taper sleeve material belongs to the material with poor weldability. When the taper sleeve is welded and repaired after bumping during processing and use, if the preheating temperature, welding temperature and insulation treatment are improper, it is very easy to have welding cracks.

We control well for quality and avoid any cracks for taper bushing 1108.
