1210 Taper Lock Bushing

1210 Taper Lock Bushing sizes are defined by a 4-digit number representing two numbers. The first two digits represent the maximum bore diameter and the second two digits represent the bushing length. For example, part number 1008 has a maximum bore diameter of 1.0" and an overall length of 0.8".

Imperial bore sizes are specified with a whole number of inches followed by a fraction. For example, a 1.5" diameter bore is 1-1/2". Metric bore sizes are indicated with "MM" after the metric size (X 25MM). These bushings are easy to install and remove. These bushings fit flush into tapered bushing sprockets with bushing contacts and wedges facing inward, clamping the shaft and bore of the sprocket. The bushings have an 8° taper and are made of steel with a black oxide finish.

The essential difference between cone sleeve( taper bushing 1210) synchronous belt pulley and expansion sleeve synchronous belt pulley is the different connection modes, one is keyway connection and the other is keyless connection.

When the oil film bearing is installed, the taper sleeve and the roller are assembled in place through the locking device. Common locking devices include mechanical locking, hydraulic locking and mobile hydraulic locking. Their functions are to install the taper sleeve in place through axial force and lock the position of the taper sleeve through threaded connection. If the conical sleeve is not assembled in place, the inner conical surface of the conical sleeve and the outer conical surface of the roll neck will be staggered back and forth, as shown in Fig. 1. Under the same section, the diameter of the conical sleeve is larger than the diameter of the roll. In this case, the cone sleeve and the roller are in contact along the cone generatrix, and the two sides of the generatrix are suspended. Under the action of rolling force, the cone sleeve will bend and deform along the generatrix. If the deformation is large, it will break directly. If the deformation is small, it will produce fatigue cracks in the process of long-term deformation recovery. During the use of the oil film bearing, because the locking screw falls off or breaks, or the locking key falls off due to other reasons, the threads of the lock nut and the screw ring (or piston) become loose and retreat; Or under the action of abnormal axial force, the thread of the lock nut and the screw ring (or piston) is broken, causing the cone sleeve to be mismatched.
