L090 Coupling

L 090 coupling is to install an integral L elastic ring between the claws of two half couplings with the same shape to realize the connection of the two half couplings. The power is transmitted through the extrusion between the claw and the elastic ring, and the relative offset of the two axes is compensated through the elastic deformation of the elastic ring, so as to realize vibration reduction and cushioning. 

L090 coupling is mainly suitable for working occasions with frequent starting, forward and reverse rotation, medium and high speed, medium torque and high reliability, such as metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical industry, hoisting, transportation, light industry and 

Textile, water pump, fan, etc. 

Compared with other couplings,L090 couplings have the following characteristics: 

(1) Stable and reliable operation, with good damping, cushioning and electrical insulation performance. 

(2) The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, small radial size, light weight and small moment of inertia, and is suitable for medium and high speed occasions. 

(3) It has large axial, radial and angular compensation capabilities. 

(4) High strength polyurethane elastic element has the advantages of wear resistance, oil resistance, large bearing capacity, long service life, safety and reliability. 

(5) The coupling does not need lubrication, with less maintenance workload, and can operate continuously for a long time.

There are two main types of claw coupling, one is the traditional straight claw type, the other is the curved (concave) claw type zero clearance coupling.

The traditional straight claw type plum coupling is not suitable for high precision servo drive applications.

The zero clearance claw type plum blossom coupling is evolved from the straight claw type, but the difference is that its design can be suitable for the application of the servo system, and is commonly used to connect the servo motor, stepping motor and ball screw.

The purpose of curved surface is to reduce the deformation of elastic plum blossom spacer and limit the influence of centripetal force on it during high-speed operation.

The zero clearance claw type coupling is composed of two metal bushings (usually made of aluminum alloy or stainless steel) and a plum blossom elastic spacer.
