Stainless steel gear rack:

The stainless steel gear rack can be made of a variety of materials, ordinary carbon steel or stainless steel.

Suitable stainless steel materials can be selected according to customer requirements.

Lubrication and dust prevention of stainless steel gear rack: during long-term operation of gear rack, accidental falling of foreign matters and inadequate lubrication will cause gear wear. Therefore, dust prevention and lubrication of gear rack shall be done well. The commonly used dust prevention means is the sheet metal cover. Here, pay attention to the resilience of the sheet metal. The adjacent covers should be well connected with the sheet metal, and the appearance of the products designed by ourselves should at least be acceptable. For lubrication, several points should be done:

A.select the appropriate oil pump and select the appropriate oil pump according to the type of grease. The gear rack does not need oil at all times. Select different oil injection cycles according to different grease

B.Select the appropriate cotton wheel to avoid tooth profile mismatch

Stainless steel gear rack installation procedure

First, check whether the gear rack assembly is accurate.

Whether the gear rack contact point is biased to one end.

Check whether there is proper side clearance. Do not use it without side clearance.

If the gear is exposed, please install a cover to protect it to ensure safe use.

Do not touch the gear when it is rotating.

Please confirm the gear and assembly status in case of abnormal noise and vibration during starting.

The current industry standard, these 20° pressure angle gears have thicker, stronger teeth than 14½° pressure angle gears. Compared to plastic gears and racks, they're better for high-load, high-speed, and heavy duty applications. Also known as spur gears.

Combine gears with different numbers of teeth to vary the speed and torque of an assembly. Combine a pinion and rack to convert rotary motion to linear motion. To minimize footprint, install one or more standard gears inside an internal gear.

For the components to mesh properly, they must have the same pressure angle and pitch/module.

Some carbon steel gears have hardened teeth for better wear resistance. Gears with unhardened teeth can be hardened to suit your application.

Stainless Steel Gear Racks and racks resist rust in wet environments, so they are often used in food processing plants and other areas that are frequently cleaned. Gears with clamping holes have a built-in clamp that securely clamps the shaft without damaging it. Tighten or loosen the clamp with the included clamping screw.
