CNC rack and pinion:

The rack is a strip-shaped part that matches the gear. It is equal to a section of the circumference of a gear with infinite diameter. There are many teeth evenly distributed on one side, which mesh with the gears to change the rotation into movement, or change the movement into rotation. The rack is a long strip with teeth on one side. It can be considered as a section of a gear with infinite diameter.

Parameter selection:

1. Whether the runout, full tooth depth, common normal line and tooth direction of the gear are qualified, and whether the one tooth swing error and circumferential pitch error exceed the tolerance.

2. Whether the installation distance of CNC rack and pinion is appropriate after installation.

3. The meshing clearance of rack and gear shall be 0.25* modulus.

4. Whether the full tooth depth, runout, common normal line, especially the tooth direction of the rack are qualified.
