SST machinery provides different Thread mini Ball Valve, this mini female to male ball valve has one female side and the other side is male thread, the regular size is 1/8”, 3/8”, 1/4”, 1/2”, we have BSP NPT threads for your choice.

The sealing performance is good, but the load of the sphere bearing the working medium is all transferred to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the material of the sealing ring can withstand the working load of the sphere medium. When subjected to high pressure shock, the sphere may shift. This structure is generally used for medium and low pressure ball valves.

In order to reduce the operating torque of the ball valve and increase the reliability of the seal, oil-sealed ball valves have appeared, which inject special lubricating oil between the sealing surfaces to form an oil film, which not only enhances the sealing performance, but also reduces the operating torque. Suitable for high pressure and large diameter ball valves.

There are some matters we need to take notice on the opening and closing force:

1 The stem should turn within tolerance.

2. Excessive compression will lead to difficulty in opening and closing, and vice versa will lead to leakage.

3. When the middle bolt is tightened, the force should be uniform, and it should not be half tight and half loose.

4. The packing gland/(gland) should not be installed inclined, the gap between the valve stem and the packing gland hole should be uniform, apply lubricating oil before the packing is installed, and tighten it until the packing does not leak.
