How to prevent rust of Stainless Roller Chain

First of all, to remove the rust spots on the surface of the stainless steel chain, you can use the pickling paste for cleaning, because the pickling paste can improve the surface smoothness of the stainless steel chain, and can also form a layer of dense and complete passive film with strong adhesion on the surface of the stainless steel chain, which can effectively prolong the service life of the stainless steel chain. 

The pickling paste is suitable for the use of chemical machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, printing and dyeing machinery, food machinery, pressure vessel manufacturing and drying equipment, chemical equipment and chemical equipment installation, and the surface treatment of engineering components. 

After that, we first apply the pickling paste on the surface of the Stainless Roller Chain. The film thickness should not be too thick, generally 0.5-2mm. Wait for more than 3-10 minutes. If the temperature is below 0 ℃ or the oxide skin is thick, the waiting time should be appropriately extended. When the time is up, it should be cleaned. In the process of treatment, it is best to use a brush to brush several times until the oxide skin on the surface is completely removed, Clean with clean water (lime water or alkaline water is better) to avoid rust. If there is clean water in the pickling paste, it can be used after shaking or mixing.
