
Cogged Raw Edge Belt
The compressed rubber layer ofCogged Raw Edge Belt is composed of rubber with excellent bending fatigue resistance. It bears the compression stress generated by the running bending of the V-belt, maintains the stiffness and elasticity of the V-belt, and plays a role in the V-belt section and the friction contact surface with the pulley to improve the transmission efficiency.
Toothed belt toothed V-belt is forced by friction between two inclined planes. However, due to the teeth, compared with ordinary V-belts, they have better flexibility, faster heat dissipation and more stable operation.
Check the parallelism of the grooved pulley of the Cogged Raw Edge Belt. Before installation, the parallelism of the shaft and the grooved pulley should be calibrated first. Generally, the parallelism deviation of more than 20'will seriously affect the service life of the belt.
The non parallelism of the sheaves will cause uneven wear of theCogged Raw Edge Belt, causing the belt to extrude the sheaves and exert all the loads on the extended side of the belt, breaking the belt rope at that side.
Toothed belt inspection pulley the condition of the pulley should be checked before installing a new set of V-belts.
The wheel groove shall be kept in good condition without scratches or sharp steps.
All dimensions shall conform to standards. Dirty or rusty sheaves will reduce transmission efficiency and damage the belt, resulting in premature scrapping of the belt.
Worn sheaves will shorten the life of the belt by 50%. If the pulley groove is worn to the belt point, the belt may slip and burn the belt.
