With the transmission error generated in the transmission process and transmission movement of the synchronous belt, the synchronous belt will be placed on the tooth profile surface of the tooth groove. Due to the error accumulation of N times, the belt teeth will climb to the top circle of the pulley and the synchronous tooth belt will slip on the top circle of the pulley. This is the so-called "tooth climbing" phenomenon.
Because the synchronous belt transmission is meshing transmission, its pulley diameter is much smaller than the V-belt pulley that relies on friction to transmit power. In addition, because the synchronous belt does not need large tension, the size of the belt axle and bearing can be reduced.
Meshing transmission type refers to synchronous belt transmission, which is used to transmit motion and power by the meshing cooperation between the teeth on the belt and the teeth on the pulley.
When moving, the belt teeth mesh with the tooth slots of the synchronous belt pulley to transmit motion and power. It is a meshing transmission, so it has various advantages of gear transmission, chain transmission and flat belt transmission.
Precautions for installation and use of synchronous belt:
Reduce the center distance of the pulley. If there is a tensioning pulley, loosen it first, install the belt, and then adjust the center distance. For transmission with fixed center distance, remove the pulley first, install the belt on the pulley, and then install the pulley on the shaft for fixation.
