Classification and lubrication of linear guide rail

The linear guide rail in bearing exhibition is generally divided into two types: square guide rail and circular guide rail.






1、 Circular rail

In the early stage, the circular guide rail was mainly used, which was very suitable for the occasion of vertically moving heavy load; However, compared with the square guide rail, the precision is poor






2、 Square guide rail






Due to various grinding requirements inherent in the design of square guide rail, its initial cost is several times that of circular guide rail, but with the manufacturing technology of linear guide rail, the performance of guide rail is better than circular guide rail. In general, the square guide rail has higher load capacity, accuracy and stiffness and longer service life.






1. High assembly weight preloaded linear slide rail






It has the ability of automatic centering, can also absorb installation errors, and maintain smooth, stable and high-precision linear motion. The sliding block can be arbitrarily assembled on the guide rail of the same model, and the same smoothness, preloading and accuracy can be maintained, making assembly and maintenance easier.

Alignment steps of linear guide rail






1. Alignment of reference guide rail






(1) The straightness errors in the horizontal and vertical directions of the guide rail are measured by the spatial straightness measuring instrument, and the offset of each measuring point relative to the least square centerline is calculated.






(2) Determine the straight line datum according to the calculation results. Then, according to the offset of corresponding points, add materials for each place, and adjust the guide rail to make its straightness error in two planes meet the requirements.






2. Parallelism alignment of the second linear guide rail






(1) Firstly, measure the straightness error of the linear guide rail and the relative coordinates (offset) of each measuring point (the second guide rail is only fixedly connected with the lower mounting table); Then, measure the angle difference between the starting point and the ending point of the two guide rails with a level (the connectors are fastened), and calculate the height difference between the head and tail points through the angle difference and the distance in the length direction. Use a dial indicator to measure the change in the horizontal parallelism of the head and tail ends of the two guide rails.






(2) The adjustment of the second guide rail must be based on the first (straightened) PI Ruijian guide rail. The adjustment datum line of the guide rail shall be parallel to the least square center line of the reference rail (the ideal straight line datum of the reference rail) in the vertical direction, that is, the two ideal datum lines are coplanar (the two different plane lines can be parallel when they are translated into a vertical plane).






Lubrication method for adding oil and grease to linear guide rail






1、 Grease lubrication:






It is recommended that both initial lubrication and supplementary lubrication should be carried out






1. Wipe off the antirust oil on the surface of the guide rail and sliding block to prevent the antirust oil from diluting the grease.






2. Fill the entire internal space of the slider with grease until it just overflows.






Because some sliding block scraping blades have good scraping and sealing effects, the lubricating grease applied on the surface of the guide rail can neither enter the sliding block nor play the role of lubrication.






3. Interval of grease Replenishment: for sliding blocks of size 30 and below: replenish every 100km. Sliding blocks 35 and above: supplement every 40km. The time interval shall be supplemented every three months, but the supplement interval shall be subject to the first of the above two.






2、 Oil lubrication:






1. Initial oil filling on: fill the internal space of the slider;






2. Supplementary oil injection volume: q = n / 150 (cm3 / HRS);






n: Nominal model width of linear guide rail (mm);






3. It is recommended that the oil specifications should be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
