SST machinery produces many kinds of hydraulic crimped fitting with different threads and materials.
For hydraulic crimped fitting, the crimping is very import, we have to install the hose correctly. If the hose is too long, it will not only affect the appearance, but also increase the cost. If the hose is too short, there is not enough room to expand and contract when it is stretched or compressed under pressure, which can also cause damage to the hose. The majority of hose failures are caused by improper installation of the hose assembly on the hydraulic system. In most cases, hose assemblies experience unacceptable torsional stress. Bend radii smaller than specified in the code and wear that leads to corrosion of reinforcements can also cause many failures.
1 Avoid distortion. Twisted product life can be significantly shortened and hoses are prone to damage or loose connections under pressure. Relevant tests have shown that the service life can be reduced by 80% when the hose is only twisted by 7°.
2 When installing the straight pipe, there should be a margin. Will not be screwed or even broken when moved under pressure. In the case of pressure changes, the hose will expand and contract to a certain extent, so be sure to reserve a margin of about 3% to 5%.
3 The tube is clamped on a straight segment. When the hose is pressurized, the pressure inside and outside the elbow is unbalanced, and the length of the pipe will change. Therefore, it is not possible to set the pipe clamp at the elbow to allow it to move freely.
4 Meet the bending radius requirements. A bend radius that is too small will tear the reinforcing wire braid on the outside of the hose bend, significantly reducing product life.
5 Exercise adaptability. Sufficient length should be reserved to ensure a certain movement adaptability and avoid friction with other objects.
