For the code numbers at the end of tube adapters, we have some common acknowledgement for them, please check below some explanations:

1. Add "OR" after the original code, which means adding O-RING to the outer cone of 60°, 74°, and 90°. 

For example, 1J-08-06 OR means that O-RING is added on the taper surface of the second end, namely the -06 end. 1J-08-06/2OR means that O-RING is added to both ends, namely -08 and -06. 

2. The representation method of fixed female thread/adjustable female thread (crimped nut) is that the first digit is 7, and then S is added at the back (Note: S is the first letter of SWIVEL). Such as 7B-06S, 7NU-06S. 

3. The representation method of female thread/adjustable female thread (free nut) is that the first digit is 5, and then S is added at the back (Note: S is the first letter of SWIVEL). Such as 5J-08-12S. 

4. When the W-end welded pipe is short, add S after the code (Note: S is the first letter of SHORT). Such as 3BW-08-20S. 

5. For the straight pipe used for locknut fitting, use W and add P after it. Such as 1BW-08-18P, it means that the second end is a straight pipe, which is used for locknut type, not for welding type. 

6. When the size of the welded pipe is in inches, add IN after the code. Such as 5JW-08IN, 3JW-12S/IN. 

7. Add N to the original code for male plug with hexagon female thread. Such as 4TN-08, 4NN-08, 4BN-08, 4ON-08, etc. 

8 For the connector type sealed with CAPTIVE, add WD after the code. For example, 1B-08-12WD means that the second end, namely the -12 end has to be a CAPTIVE seal type; 1B-08-12/2WD means that both ends of -08 and -12 are CAPTIVE seal type.
