DKL stands for DICHT KEGEL LEICHT (Metric Thread Light Series 24 Degree Cone)

DKS stands for DICHT KEGEL SCHWER (Metric Thread Heavy Series 24 Degree Cone)

DKOL stands for DICHT KEGEL O RING LEICHT (Metric Thread Light Series O-Ring Series 24 Degree Cone)

DKOS stands for DICHT KEGEL O RING SCHWER (Metric Thread Heavy Series O-Ring Series 24 Degree Cone)

The DIN joints are divided into light series (DKOL) and heavy series (DKOS). Each series has some threads of the same size, but the outer diameter of the pipe of the heavy series joint is smaller and the pipe wall is thicker. Due to the different dimensions of the tube and density cone, the light and heavy series are not interchangeable.

DIN male 24° inner cone seals with non-expandable female swivel joints. These female threaded fittings use 1 round male (DKL/DKS) or 1 O-ring (DKOL/DKOS) and are mounted on the outside towards the 24° cone. Female DKL sizes and fittings M26 and below have a 24°/60° universal cone and can be used to replace female DKM fittings with a 60° cone.
